Rourkela City Level Workshop

In a significant step towards creating a more inclusive and nurturing urban environment, the Rourkela Municipal Corporation (RMC) and Rourkela Smart City Limited (RSCL) organized a multi-sectoral convening under Nurturing Neighbourhoods 2.0 initiative, focused on building a young children and caregiver-friendly city. The convening served as a platform to bring together key stakeholders to co-develop strategies and build a roadmap to achieving the shared vision of mainstreaming family-friendly urban development in the city. Through various hands-on activities, more than 40 participants explored the role they can play in helping Rourkela become a family-friendly city.
