NN 2.0 Flagship Projects
Institutionalisation
Description

Following the ECD training sessions conducted for CDPOs and Anganwadi Supervisors, the District Welfare Officer, Women Child, Disabled & Senior Citizens Department, Hanamkonda, has issued a circular stating that the training modules on Parental Wellbeing and Responsive Caregiving should be further disseminated to all Anganwadi Teachers across the district. These teachers will, in turn, engage with caregivers and pregnant mothers at their respective Anganwadi Centres to discuss and promote these key concepts. This initiative marks a significant milestone in fostering a positive environment for young children, while also strengthening the wellbeing of caregivers.

Capacity Building & Training
Description
  • Targeted trainings have been conducted for the Engineering and Horticulture Departments of the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation to strengthen their technical capacity on safe, age-appropriate, and early childhood–centric design of play and public spaces, using data-driven tools to inform planning, design, and maintenance.
  • Early Childhood Development and Social Behaviour Change Communication trainings for Child Development Project Officers and Anganwadi Supervisors in Hanamkonda equipped frontline workers to engage caregivers and pregnant women, building a network of community champions to promote responsive caregiving, parental wellbeing, and the value of play over the long term.
