City’s Vision
Tiruppur aims to create better public spaces for young children and make public aware of children's rights by using city's institutional capacity and economy.
Ram Nagar is selected as a strategic neighbourhood as it has high concentration of 0-5 year old children population and also consists of multiple facilities visited by young children and caregivers such as health centres and shopping areas. This neighbourhood houses areas where high population of vulnerable groups is observed and has some areas needing immediate attention as they pose potential risks for young children, pregnant women and caregivers.
